Advanced Laboratory Center has facilities to perform engineering survey works – on land and sea, through our associate company. We have state of art instruments to carry out these survey works i.e. Trimble – R10, R8, R6 & 5700 GPS. Trimble 5000 series. Total Stations – Leica TS 15 & TS 11. Wild Theodolite, Sokkia Theodolite, Trimble Dini Digital Levels, Leica Dumpy Levels etc.

GPS Survey: The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a Satellite based positioning system made up of a network of 24 Satellites placed into orbit by US department of defense. GPS receivers take signals from Satellites and use it to triangulate and calculate the exact bearing of GPS receiver on the Earth.

Total Station Survey: A Total Station is an optical instrument used in modern surveying. It is a combination of electronic Theodolite (transit), electronic distance meter (EDM) and software running on external computer known as data collector. A Total Station allows the surveyor to store all information he needs to establish a setting out and can store all information taken from site as existing features i.e. original ground level, road, edges, etc.

Theodolite Survey: A Theodolite is an instrument used to measure horizontal and vertical angles, as used in triangulation networks. Theodolite survey is widely used in single line executions i.e. pipelines, cable routes, curb line & road centre line.

Dumpy Level Survey: A Dumpy Level is an optical instrument used in surveying to transfer, measure or set horizontal levels with reference to the mean sea level or available approved datum precisely. The instrument and staff are used to gather and/or transfer elevation during site survey.
